This is very easy to understand and all you require is your computer running windows, your device’s USB connector and last but not the least, your Android device. Once you have everything ready, we are good to go.
Getting Your Android Device Ready
If you are running Android 2.3 or below,
Go to Apps >> Development , and enable Android debugging.
If you are running android version above 2.3,
Go to Developer Options, and enable Android debugging.
Getting Your PC ready
Download the Android Commander Software from HERE, and install it onto your computer.
Downloading The Boot Animation File
Android boot animations are all over the internet. You can Google for boot animations according to the resolution of your device.
I have included cyanogenmod 10 bootscreen for all types of devices.
DOWNLOAD THE CYANOGENMOD BOOTSCREEN HERE
When you unzip the file, you will find vertical and horizontal boot animation folders in it. Inside the folder, you will find the boot animation file, it is in the ZIP format. Now copy this file onto the desktop and rename it as “bootanimation.zip”.
Applying The Boot Animation To Your Android Device
Now that we have everything ready, its time to apply the new boot screen. here are the steps
–> Connect your Device to your computer
–> Open Android Commander software that you installed earlier.
–> Now you will see a window with two panels. The right hand panel shows your android core files and the left hand panel shows your computer files.
–> On the right hand panel, navigate to
System >> Media
–> On the left hand panel, navigate to the desktop where you pasted the boot animation file.
–> Now, just drag and drop the boot animation file from the left hand panel to the right hand panel.
–> Now if the software tells you the file already exists, then click on replace. If there is an error replacing the file, just delete the “boot animation file from the right hand side, and then drag and drop again.
Now just disconnect your device and restart it and you are done! Have fun!
